Pearl Women’s Center was founded in 2005 by Dr. Richard Rosenfield, a board certified Gynecologist specializing in Minimally Invasive Surgery. His vision was to build an innovative, cutting-edge medical practice for women that felt more like a spa than a typical cold and sterile medical office. That vision was realized in the heart of Portland’s Pearl District.
The mission of Pearl Women’s Center is to bring together highly skilled, board certified experts in key areas of women’s health. We believe this focused approach to women’s health issues provides a higher level of care in an ever-evolving and complex area of medicine. Pearl Women’s Center is unique in the Portland metro area with services provided in advanced gynecology, plastic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic medicine. We also feature a vibrant network of specialists in primary care, dermatology and oncology. In every instance, quality customer service and compassionate patient care are a major focus of the Pearl Women’s Center experience.
We are one of the few practices in the area with an on-site, state-of-the-art surgery center designed specifically for women, and accredited by both Medicare and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC), designating the highest standard of safety. Virtually all our surgeries are performed in this relaxed outpatient environment using modern, minimally invasive (laparoscopic) techniques.
